Mark Vincent Biagini

CFP®, CWPP®

In 1976 Mark V. Biagini started his career as a Euro Dollar trader with International Westminster Bank in London, England. In 1978, he moved to National Westminster Bank in New York where he became a currency trader. In 1982, he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Vice President of Bank of America International New York trading Forward Foreign Currencies. In 1984, he was promoted to Chief of Forward Foreign Currencies. During the period 1986-1992, he traded as Chief of Forward Foreign Currencies for Standard Chartered Bank in New York.

In 1992, he started his career as a financial advisor with what was then known as IDS Financial Services which was owned by American Express. Mark has earned several distinctions during the course of his 12 year career at American Express. In almost every year his work was recognized by American Express management for financial planning, total production and quality of advice. The emphasis on the quality of his work made him a valued team member of American Express and attributes his success to his old-fashioned values, work ethic and excellent client service. Mark also has been voted one of America’s Best Financial Planners from the Consumers Research Council of America for 2005-2006.

Mark’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Bradford, England. In October of 1999, Mark has also earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the Board of Standards and holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations.

Mark’s various awards while at American Express for his financial planning, total production and quality of advice include: Mercury Award (1993), Advanced Planner Group (1994), Most Valuable Advisor (1995), Master Advisor (1996 & 1997), Advanced Advisors Group (1998), President’s Recognition Award for Quality of Advice (1998 & 2002), American Express Advanced Advisors (2000), American Express Platinum Financial Services Award for Advanced Training, Superior Advice and Excellent Client Service (2002),American Express Platinum Team (2004), and independently he was awarded Certified Wealth Preservation Planner (2006).

In June of 2004, Mark formed a partnership with Anthony Grassi Jr. to form an independent financial consulting firm, Biagini Grassi Advisory Group LLC. This was to provide independent financial advice to clients and create a more competitive structure to provide for a wider array of investment choices.

Mark was born and raised in Ayr, Scotland, and has lived in Staten Island, New York for the past 30 years. Mark spends his free time with his wife and daughter and enjoys regular exercise, reading and baseball.

Kim DeMarzio

Operations Manager

Kim DeMarzio has an extensive background in Customer Service and is most outstandingly a ’people person’. Her expertise in all areas of small business management is apparent in the way she cares for our clients and the administration of assets they have entrusted to our firm. She also owns a pizzeria with her husband that combines her knowledge of customer service and small business management.

Kim is a New York native and loves to travel in her spare time. If you ask her about her proudest accomplishment, she will undoubtedly tell you about her twin boys. When Kim is not at Biagini Grassi Advisory Group, she spends her time with her husband Bobby and her children Robbie and Joe.
Kim’s enthusiasm and work ethic make her an invaluable addition to the Biagini Grassi Team.

Alana Lombardo

Operations Assistant

Alana brings a wealth of experience to the Biagini Grassi Family. Alana’s strong commitment to superior service and the personal touch she brings to clients make her a welcome addition to the firm. Prior to joining our team, Alana was a Fine Jewelry Consultant—sharpening her client service skills and enhancing her expertise on company branding. She is currently pursuing her FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Alana was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. When she is not serving the clients of Biagini Grassi Advisory Group LLC, Alana enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and kickboxing. In addition to being an avid New York Rangers fan, she volunteers at her local animal shelter, enjoys attending jewelry auctions and shopping.
